The delegation of the national beach soccer team left yesterday for Saudi Arabia, to participate in the NEOM International Friendly Championship, which will be held from October 25 to 28 with the participation of eight teams divided into two groups, with Al-Abyad playing in the second group, which includes the teams of Brazil, Spain and Turkey. The first group includes the teams of Saudi Arabia, Japan, Germany and England.
The national team coach, the Brazilian Victor, chose 12 players to participate in this tournament: Muhammad Al Jasmi, Hamid Jamal, Walid Mohammadi, Ahmed Bishr, Walid Bishr, Ali Mohammadi, Abbas Ali, Haitham Al Kaabi, Rashid Eid, Abdullah Abbas, Abdullah Dehqani, Kamal Ali.
The team begins its journey in the tournament by facing Spain tomorrow, while facing Brazil on October 26, and facing Turkey on October 27 at the end of the group stage.
This participation comes within the framework of our team’s preparations for the Beach Soccer World Cup finals, which the country will host next February.
