MEP Claudia Gamon specified the Neos’ vision of a United States of Europe on Monday evening. In “ZiB 2” on ORF, Gamon said “the European Union must be sovereign,” which is why she and her party are committed to a joint EU army. Currently there is only the option of joining NATO, in order to be really sure, Gamon said: “The EU should think ahead and think regarding what it means to be really defensible.”
