Hoyos: “The People’s Party has a problem with structural corruption – and that will not change as long as it sits in power.”
Vienna (OTS) – “The ÖVP is still up to its neck in a swamp of corruption,” comments NEOS Secretary General Douglas Hoyos on the research by the news magazine “profil”, according to which former ÖVP boss Sebastian Kurz misused the Austrian Integration Fund for his political rise. Despite the many cases of post corruption in the past, the People’s Party is still “absolutely unreasonable, resistant to learning and with this action is once more undermining people’s trust in politics”. Hoyos demands complete clarification and clarification from ÖVP boss Karl Nehammer as to the countless corruption scandals of his predecessor. “Instead of dancing on a party stage, Nehammer should finally clean up his party.”
