Net profit of the National Bank of Kuwait rose 25.5% in the fourth quarter, according to Reuters


KUWAIT (Archyde.com) – The National Bank of Kuwait announced on Sunday that its net profit rose 25.5 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022 to 134.85 million dinars ($441.91 million), compared to 107.43 million dinars a year earlier.

The bank said in a statement to the Kuwait Stock Exchange that its annual net profit amounted to 509.085 million dinars in 2022, compared to 362.249 million dinars in 2021, an increase of 40.5 percent.

The bank recommended distributing 25 fils per share as cash dividends and five bonus shares for every 100 shares for the year 2022.
