As of mid-November, Netflix will begin showing the sixth and final season of its series “The Crown,” which deals with the accident that claimed the life of Princess Diana, as the platform announced the day before yesterday.

On November 16, a first group of episodes of the new season will be available, the total number of which Netflix has not yet revealed, provided that the platform will provide a second part of them on December 14.

The platform published through its account on the “X” network (formerly Twitter) a package that included the three actresses who played the role of the British Queen in the series: Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, and Imelda Staunton, with a comment that said: “It is not a choice…it is a duty.”

The sixth season, which is the last, revolves around the car accident that killed the princess in 1997 in Paris, and addresses her driver and the son of Egyptian businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed, Dodi Al-Fayed, who appeared in the previous season.
