Neuchâtel Election Results: Baptiste Hurni, Céline Vara, and Philippe Bauer – Who Are the Winners and Losers?

Neuchâtel PLR senator Philippe Bauer is not re-elected. The national socialist councilor Baptiste Hurni enters the States, where the Green Céline Vara retains her seat.

The PS obtained 23.4% of the vote, the Greens 22.68% and the PLR ​​21.38%. The election is proportional in Neuchâtel.

In terms of candidates, Baptiste Hurni comes first with 13,914 votes, Céline Vara 2nd with 12,167 and Philippe Bauer 3rd with 11,900. The good score of national councilor Fabien Fivaz with 9,304 votes helped to fuel the votes in favor of the Green list.

The participation rate stands at 39.63%, compared to 35.71% four years ago. This coefficient is lower than at National in general, due to the vote of foreigners, possible in Neuchâtel.
