This is a first in the history of the Louvain-la-Neuve 24 Hours of Cycling!
For the first time, the event will not take place from Wednesday to Thursday, but from Tuesday to Wednesday. The start will therefore be given on Tuesday, October 24 at 1 p.m.!
Reason for this change:the impossibility of ensuring sufficient security, many police officers being mobilized for the European summit scheduled for Thursday in Brussels“, explained Noé Berlaire, president of the organizing non-profit organization “CSE Animations”.
Like last year, the 2023 edition will take place during the fall holidays. Many high school students should therefore take the opportunity to party. The prevention and safety system will be practically identical to last year, to reduce alcohol-related overflows.
