A new health center will open in Creuse. It will be located in Bénévent-l’Abbaye. The municipality will renovate an old veterinary clinic to accommodate medical and paramedical professionals. The work will last at least a year, 70% financed by the State and the department, the rest borne by the municipality.
This health center will firstly make it possible to bring together caregivers who are already installed in Benevento. The three nurses will therefore move there, as will the town’s general practitioner. The town hall even hopes to welcome a second, who should arrive in June 2024 to strengthen the current cabinet. Indeed, since September 2023, the general practitioner from Benevento has chosen to work part-time and also stops his consultations in Dun-le-Palestel.
The health center will therefore bring together all these professionals in the same place, but there should also be some new ones. According to the mayor, two physiotherapists are expected. There will also be two or three spaces available if other caregivers want to join the adventure. The municipality looking forward to this health homesince its neighbors Marsac, Grand-Bourg and Fursac already have one.
