Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Public Health reported that the XIII Health Region of Amambay received new equipment to strengthen health services in the Family Health Units (USF).
The delivery included nine refrigerators to protect the cold chain of biological products, 22 pressure devices, office supplies and fetal monitoring equipment, with the aim of improving care for the community.
The delivery of the equipment was carried out within the framework of the Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement between the Training Universities and the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare, through the National Strategic Directorate of Human Resources in Health (Dnerhs)The Autonomous University of San Sebastián led this donation, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening the health system in the region.
The distribution of these devices to the different USFs aims not only to improve the infrastructure of the health centers, but also to optimize the quality of the services provided to the population. The delivery reinforces the commitment of the institutions involved with community health and primary care, fundamental pillars of the health system.
With this initiative, it is hoped that local health centres will be able to provide a more efficient response to the needs of the community, ensuring that basic health services reach every corner of Amambay.
