Vienna – From the 2024/25 season, the women’s Bundesliga will be played with a new mode including play-offs at the end of the season. The ÖFB announced this on Friday at a media event in Vienna. The 10-team league starts with an 18-round basic round, following which the best four teams play in the “champion play-off” with a two-legged tie for the title. The six remaining teams in the qualifying group only have one first leg to avoid relegation.
