New Molotov song questions from Echeverría to López Obrador

The Molotov band published their new song, ‘No Olvidamos’, where they review the last eight six-year terms, from the government of Luis Echeverría to that of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The theme dedicates a few brief words to each ruler, but reiterates the verse: “Raise your hand if someone of these has helped you, we do not forget, we remind you here.”

The new song is available on all the band’s digital platforms from 7 pm this Thursday.

The song starts with the six-year term of Echeverría, who governed Mexico from 1970 to 1976. The song says: “Among the disappeared, young and confused, they were not helped, they only managed.”

Politician following politician, the song reaches the government of López Obrador, of whom they say: “He blames all the previous ones for everything bad, because they are all corrupt, because they are conservatives, he put an end to corruption with a white handkerchief, he razed the pandemic with images of a saint.”
