In the interview that followed following filming, Jeong Dong-won told various stories regarding the opportunity to take on acting, what he experienced while participating in his first movie ‘New Normal’, and what he learned through it.
When asked what prompted him to try movies, he said, “Ever since I was young, I wanted to sing and act at the same time, so when I received the offer, I didn’t think much regarding it and immediately said, ‘Of course I should do it!’ and took on the challenge.”
Jeong Dong-won said regarding his first film ‘New Normal’, “I was worried regarding how well I might express the horror contained in the work, but I was able to sympathize more easily because it showed situations that might be encountered in everyday life.” However, he also shared a cute followingword, saying, “When I saw the finished movie, it felt even scarier.”
It may have been difficult because it was your first time, but when asked if there was any hope or courage you found in it, you responded, “I was very proud when I got the OK in the chase scene at once, and only then did I gain a little confidence.” Regarding the completed film, he confessed, “It would be nice to be praised for my acting, but I think it would be better to hear people say that the movie is scary.”
