News 24 | A Saudi Arabian Airlines plane lands in Pakistan after a bird collides with its engine

A Saudi passenger plane has landed safely at Jinnah International Airport in the Pakistani city of Karachi, following it was involved in an accident as a result of a bird colliding with its engine.

The plane (Boeing 330), according to the Pakistani channel “ERY”, was carrying passengers from Jeddah to Pakistan, when a bird collided with its engine, while the pilot managed to land it safely.

She indicated that the bird collided with engine No. 1, and the plane was temporarily stopped, while the engineering staff at the airport worked on repairing it and subjecting it to examinations.
