Professor of Virology, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shehri, explained the truth of the information circulated regarding the possibility of the “Corona” virus ending within a month.
Al-Shehri said, during an intervention with the “An-Nahar” program on the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel, that no one can predict the date of the end of “Corona”, noting that what was circulated in this regard is inspired by “imagination.”
He noted that the accepted information in this context is the transformation of “Corona” into a seasonal virus, indicating that its transformation into an endemic virus means its permanent presence among the population, but it does not affect health systems or a large group of people in an alarming way.
