At dawn today (Saturday), residents of the State of Kuwait felt a strong earthquake in a number of areas.
The videos circulating on social media showed the slight effects on some Kuwaiti homes as a result of the earthquake.
The Public Relations and Media Department of the Public Fire Service stated that the earthquake, which measured 4.4 degrees, caused no damages, noting that it had only received notifications to inquire regarding the source of the earthquake.
In turn, the Seismological Center at Sultan Qaboos University reported that the earthquake’s strength was 5 on the Richter scale, and it occurred at a depth of 10 km.
