The directorate explained that women who have reached the age of 21 can travel without the need for permission to do so, indicating that the validity of the passport when traveling to Arab countries is 3 months and to other countries 6 months.
The Passports Directorate’s confirmation came in response to a query received by some people regarding the possibility of a married woman traveling without a travel permit from her husband.
