The Department of Education in Jeddah Governorate announced the suspension of studies today (Thursday) in all schools in the governorates of Jeddah, Rabigh and Khulais due to weather conditions, and the University of Jeddah also announced the postponement of studies in all its headquarters and branches.
The administration stated that the exams will be postponed in all public and private schools, provided that they are conducted on Thursday corresponding to 5/14/1444 AH of the second semester, and are performed within the school day.
She added that the postponement came in order to preserve the safety of the students, following reports received from the National Center of Meteorology regarding the expected rainy situation today.
King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah said that all student exams have been postponed today (Thursday), and alternative exam dates will be scheduled soon.
