The Ministry of Health has warned of serious health complications caused by seasonal influenza to children.
The Ministry stated that a child infected with influenza may be exposed to serious complications such as sinus problems, asthma flare-ups, respiratory distress syndrome, bronchitis, pneumonia and ear infections, and in rare cases influenza can lead to death.
And the Ministry of Health advised that children should be vaccinated to prevent seasonal influenza and to maintain their safety.
