The Ministry of Health has provided a set of advice that asthma patients must adhere to when it rains, coinciding with the continued rain in a number of regions of the Kingdom.
The Ministry advised asthma patients to avoid rain and cold air; Because they are asthma irritants, making sure to cover the head, mouth, and nose when having to go out, in addition to carrying the emergency sprayer “the broadening of the people,” and carrying the preventive spray if prescribed by the attending physician.
She also pointed out the importance of going to the nearest emergency center in the event of failure to respond to the emergency spray, or worsening of symptoms, inability to breathe or speak, or cyanosis in the limbs, lips and tongue.
