Today (Saturday), the Ministry of Health announced the availability of the second booster dose of the “Corona” vaccine, 4 months following receiving the first booster dose for a number of groups, according to the opinion of the competent scientific bodies and committees.
It indicated that the target groups are: the age group of 50 years and over, patients with renal failure, bone marrow transplant patients within the past two years or are currently receiving immunosuppressive drugs, patients with active cancer under treatment, advanced or untreated immunodeficiency patients, and organ transplant patients Solid and currently receiving immunosuppressive drugs.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health had allowed, last April, to receive the second booster dose of the Corona vaccine optional, with the continuation of vaccination with previous doses.
