News 24 | In a third incident… a student was killed in Egypt by a young man after she refused to marry him

In a new case in Egypt; A young man in Menoufia governorate killed a female student by shooting her in the back, following she refused his request to marry her.

The village of Toukh Tanbesha in Menoufia governorate witnessed the killing of the student in the Faculty of Physical Education, Amani Abdel Karim (19 years), at the hands of Ahmed Fathi Amira (29 years), who lived with her in the same village.

The girl was taken to the hospital as her lifeless body following the young man shot her in front of her family’s house and fled the scene and the people were unable to arrest him, while the Menoufia security forces intensified searches to arrest him and bring him to trial.

A number of villagers stated that the murdered woman was a good man, of good character, and excelled in her studies, and that she and her family had rejected the murderer’s young man who proposed to her because of his misbehavior and drug abuse.

It is noteworthy that this is the third incident; After the murder of Mansoura student Naira Ashraf, who was slaughtered by a colleague in front of the university headquarters, and the murder of Al-Sharqiya student Salma Bahgat by a colleague as well, the two crimes were committed following the two victims refused to marry the killers.
