The General Directorate of Traffic clarified the possibility of allowing a resident inside the Kingdom to own a family car.
The traffic noted that the resident can Own a family car, as Non-Saudis may obtain a general driving license or a license to drive public works vehicles, provided that the license matches the title of his profession.
The “Traffic” clarification came in response to inquiries from some people regarding the extent of the resident’s eligibility to own a family car, and to obtain a driver’s license for public works vehicles.
