According to press reports, Al-Ahly is close to obtaining the signature of Brazilian goalkeeper Renan Ribeiro to represent him next season.
The player, according to the same press reports, set a condition if the Al-Ahly club’s board of directors wished to extend the contract with him for a year, which is to ascend to the Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League.
Ribeiro’s relationship with Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon ended at the end of his contract this season, and his transfer to Al-Ahly will be in a free transfer deal.
