King Saud Medical City reviewed the most prominent symptoms of cataracts in the lens of the eye, or what is known as “cataract” or “opacity” and the most important methods of its treatment.
“Saud Al-Taybeh” explained that the most prominent symptoms of cataract disease (white water) are double vision, the presence of a clouding on the eye, the inability to tolerate bright light, a gradual weakening of vision without pain, and a change in the color of the pupil of the eye from normal black to gray or white.
She noted that the treatment is through a simple surgery using local anesthesia, as well as drops that relieve symptoms.
