King Fahd City, the doctor, advised newborn women to visit the doctor following 6 weeks of delivery, in order to monitor their health and the extent of their improvement following childbirth.
The city explained that visiting the doctor following childbirth has positive things, which are discussing the mother’s feelings and mental health, and discussing the return of the menstrual cycle to regularity, as well as examining the place of the stitching in the event of a caesarean section or surgical interventions.
She added that the visit includes checking the blood pressure in case the mother faces a problem during or following childbirth, and finally discussing the necessary vaccinations.
