The security authorities arrested a Djiboutian woman in violation of the border security system who had practiced “begging” to collect large sums of money.
The arrested person was found in possession of an amount of 132,000 riyals, which she collected through beggary, as legal measures were taken once morest her and referred to the competent authorities.
The Ministry of Interior renewed its call on everyone not to help beggars in any way, with the initiative to report cases of beggary to the number 911 in the regions of Makkah and Riyadh, and 999 in all regions of the Kingdom.
