News 24 | The Minister of Health inaugurates the Hulu Doctor service to provide medical services to pilgrims from Riyadh

Yesterday (Tuesday), the Minister of Health, Fahd Al-Jalajil, inaugurated the “Holo Doctor” service for medical consultations, in cooperation with the Saudi Telecom Company “STC”, which allows providing modern medical services to pilgrims through video communication.

These services include detection, diagnosis and treatment, through direct communication with the doctors of SEHA Virtual Hospital in Riyadh.

The use of this technology allows the doctor working in the virtual health hospital in Riyadh to interact directly with the patient, through the device at the airport to provide medical advice and check vital signs at the same moment.

Minister Al-Jalajel explained that many medical services were linked within this service with the hospitals of the Holy Sites; To provide the necessary medical support and assistance to the pilgrims.

He added that integrated medical teams were equipped from the virtual Seha Hospital, under the supervision of consultants in many subspecialties, working around the clock in 3 basic departments: virtual radiology, virtual stroke, and virtual intensive care.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health prepared early for Hajj this year 1443 AH through an integrated system of health facilities in the holy sites, which included a group of hospitals, health centers and highly-equipped ambulances, under the supervision of medical, technical and administrative teams that include qualified and trained personnel to work during the Hajj season.
