Today (Sunday), the Ministry of Health revealed the correct behavior that must be taken when treating people with scorpion stings, warning once morest giving them any sedative medications.
The ministry stressed that an ambulance should be called for the injured immediately, with ice directly placed on the affected area, but avoiding immersion of the injured limb in cold water.
It also recommended calming the victim until the ambulance arrives, and taking the scorpion to the emergency center when possible, taking care to avoid further stings.
