News 24 | The Ministry of Health launches a campaign to reduce the time of saving heart attacks to 54 minutes

The Ministry of Health launched the media campaign for the urgent care initiative for cases of heart attack, under the title “Moment Saves”.

The campaign aims to provide services with high standards and quality within the outputs of the Ministry’s strategic objectives to provide first aid to patients with heart attacks in the shortest possible period.

The initiative embodies the integration between the Ministry and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority. To save lives by reducing the time to save a heart attack from 8 hours to an average of 54 minutes.

The procedures include access to the patient, conducting an ECG, admission to the hospital without going through the emergency room, and initiating the cardiac catheterization procedure.

It is noteworthy that the number of cases that have been rescued to date has reached 453 cases, while the average age of these cases is 57 years.
