The Public Transport Authority announced that, as of tomorrow (Sunday), the automated monitoring system for taxi violations will be implemented in various regions of the Kingdom.
The authority explained that the violations that will be monitored in the second stage include practicing the activity with an expired operating card, as well as not obtaining an operating card for the vehicle, or working with a canceled operating card.
She pointed out that the activation of this system comes to enhance traffic safety, while ensuring the application of the technical requirements for vehicles, and the regulation of vehicles operating in the transport sector.
