Two paintings at the King Abdullah Biography Documentation Center pavilion attracted visitors to the 2022 Riyadh International Book Fair.
Amal Al-Fassam, a specialist in reference services at the Biography Documentation Center of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, stated that the two paintings included two wisdoms that aroused King Abdullah’s interest, and he ordered them to be placed in all the entrances to his palaces in Jeddah and Riyadh.
One of the paintings included two lines of poetry: “If one day the soul asks you with lust… and it has a path to disagreement… then go once morest its desires as much as you can, for… your desire is an enemy and disagreement is a friend.”
While the other panel included a wisdom that says: “Be careful of the generous if you insult him, of the wise if you hurt him, of the mean if you honor him, of the fool if you joke with him, and of the immoral if you sleep with him.”
