News 24 | Two pictures of King Fahd’s participation in the coronation of Queen Elizabeth and his grandson Prince Turki attending her 70-year funeral

The official account of the King Fahd bin Abdulaziz History Exhibition published two photos, 70 years apart, related to King Fahd’s participation in the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, and his grandson Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd attending her funeral ceremony.

In the first picture, King Fahd appeared while attending the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, when he was head of the Kingdom’s official delegation participating in the celebration.

In the second, his grandson, Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd, appeared during his participation today in the official mourning ceremony for the death of the Queen, on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
