Former US President Donald Trump participated in golf at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, during the Saudi-funded LiV Golf Championship in the United States.
Trump appeared playing alongside the governor of the Public Investment Fund, Yasser Al-Rumayyan, and a number of professional golfers.
Former US President Donald Trump expressed his happiness at hosting a golf tournament backed by the Kingdom at his golf club, saying: “I have known these people for a long time in Saudi Arabia, they were friends of mine, they invested in American companies, and what they do for golf is a very wonderful thing.”
It is noteworthy that the Live Golf Championship is the new competitor to the PGA Championship, and is funded by the Public Investment Fund, while a number of professional stars are participating in the tournament, most notably Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson.
