The Civil Protection forces in Giza put out, on Monday, a fire that broke out in the remains of trees in Fini Square, Dokki neighborhood.
The residents of the square were anxious, with the flames rising and the smoke rising, while some people talked regarding a fire in a facility belonging to a diplomatic body, contrary to the truth.
The Civil Protection Operations Room in Giza received a signal from the Emergency Police Department of a fire in 4 Sarayat Street, off Vinny Square.
Major General Jaber Bahaa, Director of the General Department of Civil Protection in Giza, pushed firefighting vehicles in coordination with the head of the Dokki district, Major General Ahmed Abdel Fattah.
Examination revealed the burning of tree residues in an empty plot of land next to the Misr International Hospital, and the flames were quickly surrounded and the fire was brought under control without injuries.
The cooling process was carried out to prevent the fire from recurring, with the presence of policemen and Dokki neighborhood officials to follow up on the report.
