by Alexandra Hartman Editor-in-Chief

There’s no stopping Timo Meier! The Appenzeller shone once once more in late December with a goal and an assist in San Jose’s 5-2 win over Minnesota.

Timo Meier signed his 18th success of the season on a power play sequence to allow his team to lead 3-1 in the 33rd. He then had to deliver a 16th assist for Oskar Lindblom’s 4-1 in the 38th. His performance was rewarded with the 2nd star.

In his last 7 matches, Meier simply has a record of 6 goals and 4 assists. With 34 points, he is only a short distance from Kevin Fiala for the honorary title of best Swiss scorer in the NHL.

The St. Gallen remained “mute” during Los Angeles’ 4-2 victory over Calgary. Acquired on a success by Adrian Kempe following 3’23” of play, this victory is the 4th in a row for the Kings who consolidate in the most beautiful way their 2nd place in the Pacific Division behind Vegas.
