Nigeria takes revenge in Bissau and becomes leader of Group A

Beaten at home in Abuja on the third day of the CAN 2023 qualifiers, Nigeria are catching up. Traveling to Bissau on Monday for the fourth day, the Super Eagles won 1-0.

The only goal of the match is the work of Moses Simon on penalty in the 30th minute. A short victory, but very precious for Jose Peseiro and his foals who take the lead of group A with 9 points.

Guinea-Bissau, for its part, goes down to second place with its 7 points, but still has chances of qualification.
