No mask in school until age 12 in Qatar; Other precautions must be taken

Doha ∙ Masks are no longer mandatory for students under the age of twelve in public and private schools and kindergartens in Qatar. The new decision will take effect from today.

There are no discounts on masks for those over 12 years of age. All students must follow Kovid precautions, including social distance and hand hygiene.

There is also no change in the weekly rapid antigen testing system for students who have not been vaccinated with the Kovid vaccine.
