The man who pretended to be others to get more than a thousand unpublished books has escaped prison. A year in prison had been demanded once morest the 30-year-old Italian, but a judge in New York ruled that he had been in pretrial detention long enough. He is, however, deported to Italy or the United Kingdom. This is reported by The New York Times.
