KV Thomas said that the post of Special Representative in Delhi does not require salary. A letter was given to the government stating that the honorarium according to the cost was sufficient. KV Thomas told Manorama News that Thomas’ letter should be forwarded to the Finance Department and the government should determine the honorarium.
The cabinet meeting on January 18 decided to appoint KV Thomas as special representative in Delhi. The appointment is with cabinet rank. The CPM party broke away from the party when it violated the Congress ban and participated in the Congress seminar in Kannur. After participating in the LDF convention in the Thrikkakara by-election, he was expelled from the Congress.
