Non-compliant Bins Lead to Fines and Removals in Cerenova

crackdown on waste bins observed

20 bins removed and fines issued in Cerenova

A crackdown on improperly used waste bins has begun in Cerenova, with authorities targeting residences receiving multiple complaints for violations. During a single day of inspections, officials issued 12 fines and confiscated 20 bins.

“This action follows a successful strategy employed in the past that yielded immediate results: residents correctly registered their bins and complied with designated collection days,” said Etruscan Mayor Elena Gubetti. “Any homeowner returning to find their bin missing now needs to visit the Eco-desk at Legnara Park for a replacement and to properly register it. As always emphasized, effective waste separation relies on individual responsibility. If everyone adhered to hygiene regulations, our city would be cleaner and free from unsightly degradation.”

These checks followed numerous complaints regarding improperly managed household waste. Various irregularities were noted during the inspections, including bins not linked to their owners, outdated registrations due to property sales, unlabelled containers, and bins assigned to discontinued users.
