Washington: Hackers from North Korea stole $100 million worth of cryptocurrency from a US firm. The money was stolen from an organization called Horizon Bridge on June 23. They use the blockchain called Harmony. This way cryptocurrency can be transferred from one blockchain to another.

Experts have earlier raised suspicions that hackers are helping the government’s nuclear activities by stealing cryptocurrency through cyber attacks. After this, fraud by North Korean hackers has happened once more.

Former FBI analyst Nick Carlson said that the preliminary investigation revealed that North Korean hackers were behind the fraud. He also said that South Korea’s Lazarus Group is suspected to be involved in the fraud. It is concluded that this is the eighth cryptocurrency scam by North Korean hackers.
