North Oaks Health System has opened a new $50m, five-story specialty services clinic in Hammond, Louisiana. The new facility, North Oaks Clinic Building 3, spans 96,000 square feet and aims to enhance access to specialty healthcare services on the North Shore.
The clinic can accommodate 20 providers across nine specialties, including ENT and allergy, endocrinology, eye care, oncology/hematology, infusion services, neurology, urology, neurosurgery, and pain management. The clinic also includes a blood draw lab, prescription center, optical shop, and PJ’s Coffee outlet.
North oaks president and CEO Michele Sutton said, “This building represents more than expansion-it’s a promise to our community to keep care local, accessible, and future-ready. We’ve built this facility to meet our region’s growing needs today and for decades to come.From eye care and neurology to cancer treatment and infusion therapy, North Oaks Clinic Building 3 is designed to make your healthcare journey easier, more connected, and more compassionate.”
The building was designed by Walter P Moore and constructed by Lemoine Company.
Including the addition of the new facility, North Oaks has invested around $80 million in facility upgrades and expansions over the past three years, with plans to double this investment in the coming years.
It has also expanded its workforce, adding 900 new jobs, and recruiting more than 60 specialized providers in fields such as cardiology, oncology, and neurosurgery.
