Not even a wave of illness stopped the march of Mosonmagyaróvár

The European League player Mosonmagyaróvár defeated its guest Kisvárda 34-27 in the women’s handball NB I match on Friday.

The host was looking forward to the meeting with bad omens, because following Sunday’s El defeat in Málaga, as the club’s website pointed out, a virus spread throughout the squad, so instead of preparation, the focus was on getting the players fit for the game.

Mosonmagyaróvár won its tenth championship in a row, Gréta Hadfi with 15 saves, Zsófia Stranigg and Noémi Pásztor with five goals. For the guests, Maja Mérai, Pálma Siska and Lili Zsófi Szabó also scored five times.

After the match, head coach János Gyurka and Noémi Pásztor from the home side, and Pálma Siska from the guests gave an evaluation to M4 Sport.
