Apparently, the new foldable Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 may mark the debut of the One UI 5.1.1 interface on Samsung smartphones.

This is because the Good Guardians application received an update this Friday, indicating that it is already compatible with the new version of the interface. In practice, this demonstrates that One UI 5.1.1 is now ready to be officially released.

For those who don’t remember, this version of the software has been tested in South Korea on devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets.

Samsung may be able to release One UI 5.1.1 for other devices in the Galaxy S23 line and even for some intermediaries in the Galaxy A family.

As for the Good Guardians app, Samsung lists its main features on the Galaxy Store page.

Battery Tracker: Track battery statistics in more detail Battery Guardian: Allows users to extend battery life Galaxy App Booster: Improves application performance Thermal Guardian: Brings a module that helps users monitor and manage device temperature Memory Guardian: Has a utility that allows users to free up memory Media File Guardian: A complete media file manager.

For now, Samsung is not commenting on the matter, but it should be remembered that One UI 5.1.1 only brings a few performance refinements and focuses mainly on multitasking for larger displays.
