The number of billionaires in Russia fell by more than a quarter last year. This is according to an analysis by the American business magazine Forbes. Where the magazine’s ranking for 2021 still contained 123 Russian billionaires, there were only 88 in 2022. Steel baron Alexey Mordashov suffered the biggest losses and saw more than 10 billion euros evaporate.
