Nuno Santo’s Contract with Al-Ittihad Football Team Revealed: No Penalty Clause

Private sources revealed to Al-Riyadiya that the contract of the Portuguese Nuno Santo, the coach of the dismissed Al-Ittihad Football team, with his club is devoid of any penalty clause.
The Western team had dismissed Santo due to poor results, and agreed with Spaniard Julen Lopetegui instead, to assume the team’s technical leadership duties, as the “Ajer Sports” account published on November 11 last year.
The sources added that the federation will pay Santo’s remaining salaries in the contract for regarding 8 months, with a financial total of regarding 4 million euros, and the two parties also signed a binding agreement to deliver all his salaries to him in a specific mechanism and time.
It is noteworthy that Santo won the Saudi Roshan League championship last year for Al-Ittihad following an absence of 14 years, in addition to the Saudi Super Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
