Turkish authorities have arrested a nurse who sexually assaulted a cancer patient who was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of Izmir Ece University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
Details of the incident go back to May 17, when a worker told his manager that a nurse had sexually assaulted a cancer patient.
The director opened an investigation with the rest of the nurses, and it turned out to be true.
The police arrived at the hospital, took the security camera recordings, and arrested the nurse immediately.
The security camera recordings were sent to the Directorate of the Anti-Cyber Crime Branch for examination.
After the examination, it became clear that the nurse went to the patient and gave her medicine through an injection into the muscle, and then sexually assaulted her.
Another nurse saw him by chance and told his manager at work.
