Oaxaca City will experience a high of 30 degrees Celsius on Friday, according to forecasts released by the National Water Commission (Conagua).
The forecast indicates clear skies throughout the day with no probability of precipitation. The high temperature of 30°C is expected during the afternoon, while the low will drop to 8°C overnight. The chance of rain is reported as 0%.
Hourly forecasts detail a cool start to the day. At midnight, the temperature will be 12°C. Between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, it will be 10°C, reaching a daily low of 8°C.
Temperatures will rise throughout the morning and afternoon: 21°C at 10:00 AM, 27°C at 1:00 PM and peaking at 30°C at 3:00 PM. A slight decrease to 28°C is expected by 4:00 PM.
Towards evening, cloud cover will increase slightly. At 6:00 PM, the temperature will be 24°C with partly cloudy skies. By 8:00 PM, it will be 19°C with cloudy skies, and at 11:00 PM, 13°C with partly cloudy conditions.
Winds will be light, blowing from the southeast at 5 to 10 km/h, with gusts up to 23 km/h.
Authorities are advising residents to dress warmly during the early hours of the day, stay hydrated, and avoid sudden changes in temperature.
