Austria’s 3×3 basketball players are already in the quarterfinals of the European Championships in Graz. They defeated Hungary 21-13 in their opening game in Pool B late Friday followingnoon. Then it started 15:21 once morest Lithuania. At the start of the knockout phase on Sunday (2:20 p.m.), Nico Kaltenbrunner, Filip Krämer, Matthias Linortner and Martin Trmal will face the Netherlands or Belgium.
The ÖBV selection had shown a dominant performance once morest Hungary. The duel was decided following less than six minutes. Kaltenbrunner provided twelve of the 21 red-white-red points. Against Lithuania, however, the Austrians were also in the fourth meeting at a disadvantage. Krämer was the most successful scorer with six points.
