ÖFB-Cup: Bergheim had no chance in the cup: 0:7 at Altach/Vorderland

There was nothing to get for the FC Bergheim footballers in the quarter-finals of the ÖFB Cup. When coach Branko Stojanovic made his debut, Salzburg lost 7-0 (4-0) at Altach/Vorderland.

The Bundesliga third clearly showed Bergheim the limits on Saturday in the Cashpoint Arena. Linda Natter (16th, 41st, 57th), Anna Bereuter (27th), Maria Agerholm Olsen (40th) and Eileen Campbell (48th, 90th + 1) scored for the Vorarlberg women. As early as next Saturday there will be a new edition of this duel in the Bundesliga, then with Bergheim as the host. Sarah Sturm and Co. can look forward to a spring marked by the relegation battle. Only three points separate Bergheim in eighth place from bottom-placed Wacker Innsbruck.

Double winner SKN St. Pölten is also in the semifinals. The team of Mittersillerin Stefanie Enzinger had some problems in the 1-0 win over Austria Vienna. Kleinmünchen/Blau-Weiss Linz won 2-1 at Paudorf. On Sunday, Sturm Graz will welcome Neulengbach at home.
